The Narcofeminism Storyshare Model
Watch as women share their stories of pregnancy, parenting and drug use. These stories use the Narcofeminism Storyshare model, which centres lived experience and challenges harmful narratives created by the war on drugs. The model creates safe spaces for people to speak their truth and shift stigma by letting stories lead. How might this approach be used in your own sector to tackle stigma?
Through the project, womxn share their lived experiences of pregnancy, parenting, and drug use. Their stories:
Confront and dismantle harmful cultural tropes
Highlight truth, courage, and resilience
Demonstrate the power of inclusive, community-led storytelling
